The Florida man, who mailed homemade bombs to leading Democrats and other critics of President Trump, collapsed on Thursday in court while pleading guilty to the charges that could put him in prison for life, claiming he never had He intends to use the devices – which he had packed with explosive powder from fireworks, fertilizers, pool chemicals and broken glass – to actually blow someone up and hurt him.
None of the bombs exploded, but Sayoc confessed to federal court in Manhattan "I was aware of the risk," they said.

Sayoc also named his goals as financier George Soros, Hillary Clinton, former CIA director Jonn Brennan, actor Robert DeNiro, former director of national intelligence James Clapp Er, ex-president Barack Obama, MP Maxine Waters (D-Calif ), former Attorney General Eric Holder, Senator Cory Booker (D-New Jersey), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California), hedge fund billionaire Tom Steyer and CNN.
At the end of his speech, Sayoc's voice choked with excitement as his body trembled, and he scratched his face, apparently holding back tears.
"I am very sorry," he said barely above a whisper.
Then he pleaded guilty to using a weapon of mass destruction, transporting an explosive device interstate, a threat of interstate commerce, illegal shipment of explosives, and carrying explosives while committing a crime.
The WMD carries maximum life in prison, and the prosecutor's office did not promise to demand leniency in return for Sayoc's guilty complaints.
