Bruce Alexander, 49, was arrested for sexual contact with Southwest Flight 5421 landed in Albuquerque
According to an affidavit, when Alexander was handcuffed, he told the officers that "the President of the United States says it is okay to grab women through their private parts."
Alexander is accused of touching a woman's chest while sitting behind her on the Southwest flight.
The woman said she felt Alexander's hand go behind her and grab her right breast. She said she had fallen asleep about 20 minutes after the flight and not long after, she sensed that he was touching her, but suspected that it was an accident, according to court documents. About 30 minutes later, she said she felt Alexander's hand grasp her back from her arm and felt around her ribs and then around her chest.
The woman then got up and told Alexander that she did not understand how he thought it was OK and that he had to stop. Then she asked a flight attendant to put her back and sat in another part of the plane.
The woman said she did not drink alcohol or take any sleeping pills.
When Alexander was questioned by authorities, he said I could not remember touching the woman. He said he was sitting behind a woman and slept most of the flight.
He was charged with sexual contact.
