Our long-awaited first look at the upcoming Avengers game entitled Marvel's Avengers finally came at the Square Enix press conference on the E3 2019. The company has saved the revelation for the end of its press conference, but it probably did not get the overwhelmingly positive reaction of the internet that it might have liked. Though the main Avengers team in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it does not show the similarity of MCU actors fans have grown accustomed to over the past decade, and this has probably led to the character designs entering social media were drawn.
The Avengers revelation finally showed something of the game Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal are working on. Despite taking a long look at Avengers, things are still pretty cryptic: although it seems to be a third-person action game, it's not very clear how it's played. We know that this is an original Avengers story (just as Insomniac's latest game, Marvel's Spider-Man, has been separated from the existing storylines). And it seems that Captain America buys it at the beginning of the game, with the story picked up five years later, after they have dissolved, in response to the blame for destroying much of San Francisco.
