Maryland police received a phone call on Tuesday night that six black-hooded youths attacked a man in his fifties at a Popeyes restaurant in Silver Spring.
The incident has since continued a wave of suspected violent incidents associated with the fast food chain, adding a popular chicken sandwich product to its menu.
Suspect, having knocked down a man in a POPEYES RESTAURANT in Maryland, the restaurant with cut lips.
The young people fled the scene, according to the report. No reason was known for the alleged attack.
Several incidents involving Popeyes have been reported in the state of Maryland, including the stabbing death of a 28-year-old man who allegedly cut a line to order a chicken sandwich in an Oxon Hills neighborhood.
