As she prepares for her royal wedding, Meghan Markle has officially retired from the show.
On Wednesday, Markle, who had previously said that she would retire from acting to focus on her royal duties, made her final appearance as an actress in the Season 7 Finale of Suits.
In the two-hour episode, Markle's character, Rachel Zane and fiancé, Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams, who also stars in the USA Network series) get a job offer that's too good to drop , The couple accepts, but there is a catch. It's in Seattle. So the couple quickly advances their special day and finally the knot.
Following a message from Markle's engagement to Prince Harry, the US Network announced as early as November that Meghan had announced that Would leave drama.
"Of all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we would like to send our warmest congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement," the statement said.
"Meghan has been a member of our family for seven years and it was a pleasure to work with her," the statement went on. "We want to thank her for her undeniable passion and dedication to Suits and wish her all the best."

Meghan, who has starred since its premiere in June 2011 (in 107 episodes) , also confirmed that she would not act anymore.  "I do not see it as giving up, I see that as a change," she said in her first joint interview with Prince Harry in November.
"It's a new chapter, right? Remember, I've been working for seven years [Suits] and we've been very lucky to have that kind of longevity in a series," she explained, adding : "I ticked this box and I'm very proud of the work I've done there, and now it's time to work with [Harry] as a team."

While she will retire from TV roles, Meghan will continue her passion for humanitarian purposes
"I think what was really exciting when we talked about the transition from mine Career to my role, "she said.
