Meghan Markle happened to divulge her secret nickname for her husband, Prince Harry, while attending the special "Hamilton" gala in London's West End on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Markle joined her husband for a special gala performance of "Hamilton" with the creator of the show, Lin-Manuel Miranda. Meghan turned as she stuffed herself into a black and black Judith & Charles T-shirt with mini dress and matching pumps, while Harry fitted his wife in a smart, black suit.
Following the show, the royal couple met and posed for photos with the cast of "Hamilton", where the Duchess of Sussex became nervous after she revealed her sweet nickname for her husband.
While receiving information for the group photo with the actors, Markle overheard Harry and asked, "Can you see, my dear?" Her affectionate question prompted a collective "Aww!" from the stage actors to whom the duchess blushed.
The Broadway Tour was the first time the Duke and Duchess had appeared in public since they attended the wedding of Harry's closest friend, Charlie van Straubenzee, on August 4, which was also the Duchess' 37th birthday.
While thanking Miranda and casting the musical for the evening, Harry even took part in the show and made a small performance for the audience.
The Kensington Palace shared a video with the Prince who sang a few bars of the show tune "You'll Be Back," with Miranda and the "Hamilton" lineup behind him cheering him on.
