President Donald Trump continues to beat Michael Cohen, but Defense Attorney Lanny Davis said the former Fixer is "the biggest threat" to his old boss.
"Donald Trump sees Michael Cohen and I would rightly say," As the biggest threat to his presidency and what could be criminal and actionable acts as president, "Davis, who represents Cohen, told Kasie Hunt of MSNBC on Sunday.
Davis beat Trump for interviewing Fox News on Saturday, in which President Cohen attacked and his father-in-law, while Cohen prepares to testify publicly before Congress next month, Trump claimed Cohen, his longtime private lawyer, "lies." "and referred to possible misbehavior of his father-in-law as" money in the family. "
" I and most Americans have no idea what President Trump is getting at demonizing the father-in-law of Michael Cohen – his wife's father – fantasizes, and he will not even tell us, "said Davis.
The president's "pattern of incessant attacks" shows Davis believes the walls are closing, Davis added.
Trump told Jeanne Pirro of Fox News that Cohen should stop giving up dirt and focus on his own father-in-law.
"He's in trouble Some credit and fraud and taxis and things I know nothing about, and to minimize the penalty, he says," I have an idea. I'll give you some information about the president, "said Trump von Cohen. "Well, there is no information. But maybe he should give information about his father-in-law, because that's what people want to see, because where does the money come from – that's the money in the family. "
Trump told Pirro he did not know that father-in-law was Shusterman's name.

In 1993, just before Shusterman's daughter married Cohen, Shusterman pleaded guilty not to the reporting rules for large cash transactions, The New York Times said. He was sentenced to probation.
Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to fraud, misrepresentation to a bank, leaving a campaign funding breach, and Congress for negotiating a Trump Tower project lying in Moscow. He said in court that Trump instructed him to pay hushed money to two women claiming alleged affairs with Trump.
Despite Trump's personal comments on Cohen's family, Davis said Cohen was determined to sit in front of Parliament's oversight committee chaired by Rep Elijah Cummings (D-Md.).
"Mr. Cohen has so far told the truth, and on February 7, he will continue to tell the truth to Mr. Cummings, "said Davis.
