Michelle Obama oversees Donald Trump as he talks about White House morale

Former First Lady Michelle Obama mentioned the important role that morality played in the administration of her husband, former President Barack Obama, on the Friday broadcast "The Late Show."

Bar feels higher. They have no room to make mistakes, "said Obama host Stephen Colbert. "We could not afford to make a mistake, we could not afford to look unconcerned. We had to pay attention to our language, "she added.

Colbert did not refer to President Donald Trump by name, but asked Obama how it felt to" see the next inmate of the Oval Office indifferent to this responsibility. " [19659002] Related: Michelle Obama to the White House

Obama responded that she was "very clear on what I felt about it" before referring to their comments at the 2016 Democratic National Convention in which she famously said, "If they go down, we'll go up."

"The country has to ask itself, what do we want, what is the bar we set ourselves?" What moral leadership do we require in the White House? ", She said. "Regardless of race, regardless of the party, regardless of gender, no matter where you are: how do we want our president to look like this? How should he act? If we vote for a behavior, then of course we want that until we choose differently.
