Microsoft introduces some interesting changes to the pricing and storage plans for OneDrive. OneDrive extends storage options to give OneDrive customers more control over their cloud storage.
OneDrive doubles the available storage space with the standard OneDrive plan. The $ 1.99 monthly plan previously had 50GB of storage and now has 100GB of storage. If you're a standard plan client, you'll automatically get the extra 50GB of storage for free.
And for Office 365 customers, Microsoft is changing the way they offer storage space to those with Office 365 storage that ships with an Office 365 subscription, users can now spend an additional 1TB (that is, a total of 2TB) for Received $ 9.99 per month. You can add space to your account in increments of 200GB, starting at $ 1.99 per month for the first 200GB of additional storage. Here's the breakdown:
Microsoft plans to introduce the new additional storage plans for Office 365 in the coming months. The changes should be welcome to many, but can still be considered slightly expensive as other services like Dropbox, iCloud, and Google Drive offer similar 2TB storage plans at lower prices – and without having to pay for Office 365.
