Microsoft warns Windows 10 users to instantly update their operating systems because of two "critical" vulnerabilities Spread viruses and malware without the user having to do anything.
There are "potentially hundreds of millions of vulnerable computers," wrote Simon Pope, Director of Incident Response at Microsoft, in a blog post on Tuesday.
"It is important that affected systems be patched as quickly as possible because of the increased risks associated with such vulnerabilities, and downloads for them can be found in the Microsoft Security Update Guide.
Windows 10 users who have enabled automatic updates are already protected. If you update manually, you can click the search button and type "Windows Update" to access the update tool.
Other operating systems, such as Windows XP, are not affected.
