Satya Nadella, managing director of Microsoft, speaks during a Microsoft launch event on May 2, 2017 in New York City about the introduction of the new Microsoft Surface laptop and the Windows 10 S operating system.
According to a person familiar with the matter, Microsoft will not release its Surface Neo PC with two screens in time for Christmas, as originally planned.

Microsoft has been expanding its surface hardware line since 2012. The company announced the Neo in October along with the two-screen duo phone and Android. Surface products accounted for 4.5% of Microsoft’s total revenue in the 2019 financial year.
Surface Neo runs Windows 10X, a special version of Windows 10 that allows applications to run on more than one screen. Now Microsoft has stopped developing Windows 10X and is focused on making it work well on a single screen, said the person familiar with the discussions. ZDNet reported the news earlier on Wednesday.
