MLB Trade rumors: Diamondbacks get twins Eduardo Escobar for 3 smaller leaguers | MLB

The Diamondbacks have agreed, according to Yahoo Sports, to a trader who takes over Eduardo Escobar from the Twins. The Athletic reported for the first time that the deal was close.

According to Yahoo Sports, The Twins received three Class A players in return for Escobar in Oufieldern Ernie De La Trinidad and Gabriel Maciel along with the pitcher Jhoan Duran.

Escobar is .274 with 15 homers and 63 RBIs for the Twins this season and Power is the best racquet currently available on the MLB.

The versatility of the 29-year-old makes him very attractive to the Diamondbacks as he has experience in every position on the field, with the exception of First Base, Catcher and Pitcher

The Switch-Hitter has been in the last two seasons experienced a career rejuvenation as he scored 36 home runs in 226 games after beating 27 in his first six MLB years.

Arizona could use Escobar's help throughout the infield because Jake Lamb has a low season and Ketel Marte and Nick Ahmed have had their fights

Miguel Sano was reportedly called by the twins to take Escobar's place in the roster.

The teams have not yet announced the deal.
