(KMOV.com) – MoDOT says they would do wellness checks for motorists stranded on closed highways.
The latest information about the winter storm this weekend, which is expected to bring several inches of snow to the Metro
They said they focused most on checking the persons working in Interstate 44 in St. Louis County and Interstate 64 are included in Chesterfield, where vehicles have been parked since around 5:00 pm.
St. Louis County police said they will also do wellness checks for drivers stranded on I-44.
At the wellness check, a MoDOT spokesman said they would make sure the cars were fueled and the inmates water and food.
It is not known when these stops will be reopened.
