The FBI announced that investigators have found the body of a 2-year-old boy whose parents were involved in a suicide murder in Montana.
"We want to tell you this Montana authorities have found the remains of the missing 2-year-old Aiden Salcido from Medford, Oregon. Many thanks to all who participated in the search. Please keep Aiden's family and friends in mind … "The FBI office in Portland tweeted on early Sunday night. It was unclear how exactly he died.
The remains were found in the same area where the family had been seen a few days before helping find a remote camp that was probably occupied by the family.

The boy's parents, Daniel Salcido and Hannah Janiak, were arrested on Wednesday in Kalispell, Mont ., Found dead after police stopped them after being chased for burglary for their arrest. The FBI said it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Along with camping equipment and clothing, detectives found a receipt in the car from The Kalispell Walmart dated July 25 on the day they died. Salcido and Janiak appeared in the surveillance video, but Aiden did not.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Ore, investigated the pair for a break-in in 2018, the FBI said. Both were convicted of the charge and Janiak was serving her sentence in Jackson County Prison on June 11, the FBI said. She has not appeared to her conviction.
Subsequently, arrest warrants were issued against the couple.

Family members also told law enforcement officials that the family was homeless and would camp at the Greenway in Medford.
