Mortal Kombat 11 Next DLC Character Possibly Confirmed by Ed Boon – Game Rant

Mortal Kombat 11 The first DLC character of Shang Tsung was released to the masses a few weeks ago. Now that fans have the chance to master Shang Tsung's unique move set, they look forward to the next DLC character. And although we do not yet have official confirmation, Ed Boon's recent tweet seems to indicate that the next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11 is none other than Nightwolf.

Ed Boon posted a picture on Twitter of Nightwolf's Ax. We do not exactly see Nightwolf, but it looks like the character is preparing for a fight. Boon published the picture titled "And now a foretaste of the things to see …", which has fueled speculation that Nightwolf will indeed be the next Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character ,

If Nightwolf is the next Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character, then perhaps we also have an idea of the release order of the remaining Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters. That's because at the end of the Shang Tsung DLC trailer, the name Nightwolf pops up, followed by Sindel and then Spawn. If these names are in publication order rather than alphabetical order, it appears that Sindel is the third Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character, with Spawn being the fourth DLC character and the remaining two guest fighters finishing the Kombat Pack 1 -Lineup.

The identity of the last two guest characters of Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 1 was much speculated. Most evidence suggests that Ash from Evil Dead and The Terminator are the last two guest fighters for Mortal Kombat 11 but there are other options as well. Data collection trials have shown that DC Comics' Joker could also be considered for a Mortal Kombat 11 DLC host fighter. Of course, NetherRealm will likely bring out more Kombat packs that can include their own DLC guest fighters so the joker may be saved for them. Ultimately, we will not know until Ed Boon decides to share more information, so Mortal Kombat 11 fans just have to keep guessing.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also under development.
