After the end of the season in the smartphone news, it is time to start the new year with new phones. The Honor View 20 was announced earlier this week, and Motorola has an announcement on February 7th.
As expected with today's smartphones, little remains hidden until the official announcement. This time it was the Motorola website that CNET discovered and had all the details of the Moto G7, G7 Plus, G7 Power and G7 Play smartphones. Motorola is one of the manufacturers that updates its phone line annually, so these G7 phones build on the G6 lineup in recent years.
Moto phones are known as affordable phones with relative Android experience. These phones are clearly good value for money, and the G7 line seems to have attractive options for phone buyers in 2019. We will not know the price or availability details until after the launch event in a few weeks, but the full specifications have been shown and captured on the CNET website.
These four new Moto G7 phones all feature a headphone jack and a microSD card, both of which are missing on most flagship phones today. They also run on Android 9 Pie and have narrow frames with displays ranging in size from 5.7 to 6.24 inches. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 and 636 processors will power these phones.
The Moto G7 Power will likely keep you on for days with a Snapdragon 632 and a massive 5,000 mAh battery. This is the highest capacity we've ever seen on a smartphone, and even Huawei's massive battery options.
