NASA appointed Jody Singer Deputy Director of its Marshall Space Flight Center.

Todd May retired from NASA on Friday. May has been director of Marshall since February 2016. He began his career in 1991 with Marshall as an engineer.
"My decision to retire from NASA was difficult, especially because of the truly extraordinary people I could work with every day," May said. "I'm convinced that Jody Singer, with his in-depth management experience, has overseen For three decades, at the project, program, and center levels, Marshall's critical work will continue to reach the next wave of human exploration of the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Before taking on the position of Deputy Director at Marshall, Singer was head of the Center for Flight Programs and Partnerships.
Singer has 25 years experience in NASA's space shuttle program.
