The New York Times reported that NASA is investigating what is possible. Astronaut Anne McClain has confirmed that she has access to her ex-partner Summer Worden's bank account while she is at the space station ,
She checked to see if her former spouse had enough money to support the care of Ms. Worden's son, whom they had raised together before they separated.
According to reports, Ms. Worden has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Ms. McClain has since returned to Earth.
Astronaut lawyer Rusty Hardin told the New York Times: "She energetically denies that she did anything wrong."
