Harley Thronson, senior technologist NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center states: A gateway near the Moon has been the target of space research scientists and designers for nearly two decades. According to NASA, only four people can reside within the Lunar Orbital Platform Gateway and must complete their research and experimentation within 30 days. NASA scientists are trying their best to commission the Lunar Space Station by 2025 so that they can plan missions to and beyond Mars.
