An Early Boost for Milwaukees Chances: The Game of Thon Maker
Maker changed the tenor of the series starting Game 3, as he could protect both the rim and the field Milwaukee made an element on both Otherwise it does not have ends.
Maker has a three and a hint dunk early in the game. Milwaukee could use him to continue to be able to act aggressively – and stay away from bad problems.
The Game 7 phase can often be the launch pad which takes a great player to another level of fame. The Milwaukee Bucks hope their game 7 against the Boston Celtics will serve as Giannis Antetokounmpo's.
Road crews in such matchups usually lose about 80 percent of the time. But these road teams usually do not have the best player in the series, which the Greek Freak is clear.
After the home teams have split the first six games of the series evenly, there will be a Herculean effort by the Bucks to confront the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round. It is a unique opportunity for Antetokounmpo to experience one of his first true NBA moments. We'll see if he can do it.
OAKLAND, California – The New Orleans Pelicans are decided outsiders in their Western Conference semi-final series against the Golden State Warriors .
Just don & # 39; That's what I say to Anthony Davis.
"We know we can beat them," Pelikane Superstar said after training here on Friday afternoon. "We did it in the regular season and we were in every game we lost [against them] so we know we're a good match against these guys and we have a lot of confidence in ourselves."
" Every time they score goals we know them "We score points and take shots, it's tough, we just have to get the ball out quickly and hit it on the ground and try [go] faster."
It's easier said than done to beat the warriors. Davis is right that New Orleans beats Golden State in the regular season, but that's virtually irrelevant. Golden State won the first three games, all until the beginning of December and DeMarcus cousins play a prominent role for the pelicans.
New Orleans then won the fourth and final meeting three weeks ago, but the Pelicans were desperate while trying to lock a playoff spot while Golden State played the string.
Nor did the Warriors have Stephen Curry, who looks like he's playing Game 1 on Saturday night. Curry trained on both Thursday and Friday and went through a 5-on-5 scrimmage after training on Friday afternoon. He then talked to the media for the first time in weeks and considered himself "50-50" to play in the opening game of the series.
Curry was on Saturday and was questionable. It seems rather than that he plays, but probably also that the warriors Andre Iguodala will start at Point Guard for the next game or two, at least when Curry comes off the bench. Curry will probably have a minute limit so Golden State can get him back into action.
Even in the limited minutes, Curry's presence would give the Warriors a boost that will face a much tougher test against the Pelicans. The first run of the Portland Trail Blazers was impressive as they yawned in their 5-game yawn against the San Antonio Spurs.
Davis will be a big reason. He has a case this season as the best player in the league, boosted with a dominant performance against the Trail Blazers, whom he averages 33 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 2.8 blocks and 57.6 shoots Percent of the field over the four games.
What do the pelicans of Davis expect when he plays in the second round for the first time in his career?
"What happened last series," said Jrue Holiday, who had his own breakout series against Portland
