When the Rockets picked up Gerald Green mid-season, they knew he could be a valuable rotation player, but it would be hard to believe they would see Friday.
Houston was just 1.4 seconds behind two Josh Jackson gave the Suns a lead on a step back jumper and the Rockets knew they needed a coupling shot. The logical men to take were MVP candidate James Harden, multi-year all-star Chris Paul, and Clint Capela, the aspiring star big man on an alley, but none of these men had the last chance.
It was Green Shot who made the Rockets the team they are today: a 3-pointer corner.

Dud the Night
Bull guard Jerian Grant went 2-for-12 shooting with five points in a 90-82 victory over the magic. Worse, he helped Chicago win a game in tanking season.
Philadelphia rookie Markelle Fultz may have lost the ability to shoot for a while, but he showed he was still in a 101-91 win over the Hawks.

Raptors (55-20) at Celtics (52-23) 19.30 ET – The Celtics are still without Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart, but that did not stop them from to win. Boston has dropped the Thunder, Trail Blazers and Jazz during its five successful games series behind rookie Jayson Tatum and veteran Marcus Morrist. It's almost pure entertainment just to see Brad Stevens win against a highly qualified team.
