On the way to the second round of the NCAA 2019 tournament for men, the chalk largely lives. All 12 teams with top three seed have developed for the campaign March Madness this weekend.
But without drama, no big dance is complete.

It protects the ball offensively and prevents Maryland from owning the glass. Luckily for the tigers, their adversary is one of the nation's worst upheavals. Maryland has the second-worst employee turnover rate (12.3). The Terps only forced five wins in their 79-77 first-round win against Belmont, who finished 11th.

Jalen Smith for Maryland and Tremont Waters for LSU. Smith is the buddy of the second center, Bruno Fernando, who has scored 21 double doubles this season. Maryland is 18-3 when Smith scores 10 plus points, otherwise 4-7. Waters' average LSU rating is 15.1 points, 6.0 assists and 2.9 steals per game.

Wofford Wins If …  Fletcher Magee is a flamethrower from the district and Nathan Hoover delivers some three pointers. Magee is third in Division I and Hoover shoots 46.1 percent from the depths. The terriers are not as impressive as Kentucky, but the SEC team are a miserable 203-point national in three-point defense.
Kentucky Wins If …
The defense forces Wofford to win within the arc. Although the Wildcats may be able to do without striker PJ Washington (foot injury), they are the country's seventh stingiest two-point defense. Kentucky is 4: 4 if he gives up at least ten triples this season.
It would also be helpful if Tyler Herro and Keldon Johnson had an above-average influence from the outside. The cats have the 13th lowest three-point test rate, so it is important that they be efficient in these limited shots.

The Gators use the seemingly inevitable cold spurt for the Michigan crime. Florida is not impressive in terms of scoring as the effective field goal percentage ranges from 49.9 to 233 nationwide. Florida's 33.3 three-point clip is also 233.
Although both offenses favor super slow tempos, Florida is 8-14 if the opponent scores more than 60 points. For Michigan, this is an exceptionally low value.
Michigan wins if …
No aggressive defense is sacrificed. Florida is ranked 26th in the opposing flotation, while Michigan is offensively fourth in turnover. As long as the Wolverines do not betray their possessions, Florida's mediocre attack on Toring will be forced to provide high-quality opportunities against a semi-legal defense that rarely permits them.

Simpson is one of the nation's best on-ball defenders, helping the Wolverines with an average of 6.7 assists.

Yes, Morant does Yes Morant stuff, and the Racers can handle the size of the state of Florida. Morant has the talent to control a game, which shows in the first round with 17 points, 16 assistants and 11 rebounds. The cunning of the point guard can make up for the big difference in height, but that's a serious problem for Murray State.
