Nearly 300 patients potentially exposed to COVID-19 at Salmon Creek’s chiropractic office, according to news



Nearly 300 patients who visited a chiropractic office in Salmon Creek last week may have been exposed to COVID-19, according to Clark County Public Health.

An employee at Chiro One Wellness Center in Salmon Creek, 13800 NE 20th Ave., tested positive for COVID-19 this week. The employee may have worked contagiously and may have exposed people in the office for four days last week

According to health authorities, the employee also exposed the 14 other employees in the wellness center.

All patients who visited the office on September 8, September 9, September 1

0, and September 11 are considered close contacts at risk of COVID-19 infection and who, according to Clark County Public Health, are immediately under Should be quarantined.

Patients who visited the Salmon Creek office or other locations in Chiro One on other days were not exposed and do not need to be quarantined.

The Chiro One Wellness Center provided public health with the names and contact information of all affected patients. Public health calls each patient to inform them of their exposure and provide additional information about the quarantine. Notifying nearly 300 people can take several days, according to health officials.

Anyone who may be exposed should be quarantined immediately and not wait for a call from Public Health.

COVID-19 symptoms may develop two to 14 days after exposure and include coughing, shortness of breath, fever, chills, or repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell.
