The famous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson denied sexual transgressions that three women had charged against him following the channels of his show "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" They checked the allegations.

The allegations were first reported by the website Patheos marks writing on faith and spirituality. Last month, the site posted allegations about three women who accused Tyson of misconduct, unwanted sexual advances, and assault.
NBC News has not independently confirmed the allegations.
Tyson in his statement welcomed the investigation by Fox and National Geographic.
The producers of "Cosmos" said in a statement that they are "committed to a thorough investigation of this matter".
Katelyn N. Allers, an Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, told Patheos in a report released on Thursday that Tyson had grabbed her arm while tattooing on her solar system and reached into it her dress looking for the dwarf planet Pluto. The incident allegedly occurred at an after-party for an American Astronomical Society event in 2009.
Allers said the experience was not an attack, but showed that Tyson, according to Patheos, was capable of "scary behavior."
"My experience with him is not someone who has great respect for the physical autonomy of women," she said after Patheos.
Allers confirmed in an email to NBC News the details of the encounter reported in Patheos. She hoped that the allegations against Tyson would be investigated, especially those of the two other women who accused him "whose lives and careers were so deeply affected".
In his testimony, Tyson said he had a "career history with the downgrading of Pluto, which had officially occurred only three years earlier."
"And although I do not explicitly recall looking for Pluto on top of her shoulder, I certainly would have done this for the situation," he said.
