For even more performance, the optional Z51 package includes summer tires, power suspension, threaded adjustable spring seats, larger Z51 graphics discs, improved cooling systems, and an electronic limited slip differential with a specific axle ratio. A unique rear spoiler and front splitter, front-wheel cooling holes, power exhaust system and adjustable coil spring.
This will inevitably increase the starting price, but the Z51 package will allow the Corvette C8 to reach 0-62 mph in less than three seconds. Remember, we're still talking about the entry-level Corvette for 2020 – the highest-range C7 ZR1 has completed the same sprint in about 2.8 seconds. Production of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will begin later this year.
