MTV has released the first three minutes of The Hills: New Beginnings showing fans what to expect from the eagerly awaited start at the premiere on Monday night expect?
"I love this city, but sometimes it does not love me," says Audrina Patridge, while footage of Los Angeles is shown on screen.
Patridge returns to the series that made her famous in 2009, and is complemented by original cast members Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Brody Jenner, Justin "Bobby" Brescia, and newcomers Mischa Barton and Brandon Thomas Lee. In the years since The Hills blew up, Patridge married BMX driver Corey Bohan and gave birth to her daughter Kirra Max. The reality star completed her divorce late last year and talks about her recent troubles in the new clip.
"It's hard enough to get divorced," says Patridge.
Then we see her in front of the camera, Stephanie Pratt, Spencer's sister and former Hills actress, who says, "I have to protect myself.
Barton of The OC Glory makes her debut by revealing that her career has hardened her a bit and made her skeptical.
"If you're famous, people have a price tag your head," says Barton. "I'm keeping a distance now from people, it's a hard-learned lesson. Many people I trusted were monsters."
The new material also features the Pratt's standing on a balcony overlooking Los Angeles, as Heidi tells her husband: "Nobody thought we'd last, but we've certainly proven they're wrong
The couple's new mother, Gunner Stone Pratt, said: "It's really easy to get involved in Hollywood and the fame and success. "The next shot shows Spencer saying," I'd like to get famous again.
Heidi cries in front of the camera and tells Spencer, "It's just so hard for me.
In the video clip, viewers also see an upcoming drama: Brody Jenner, who was once Spencer Pratt's best friend, says, "I'm not trying to have a false friendship."
"If Spencer has a damned problem 'He has something to tell me,' says Jenner to returning actor Frankie Delgado.
Jenner and Pratt are then shown in a heated back-and-forth with Pratt in Jenner's face saying, "I'm here, let's go."
Justin "Bobby" Brescia also dives into the clip next to his old flame on Patridge, at dinner.
"I do not think that was the love of your life. I think you're just starting out, "he says, probably referring to her recent divorce.
" We've known each other for so long, "says Patridge at the end of the clip," we may do something to each other to hurt, but we really care about each other. "
