Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero was first elected to the PFA team of the year, one of five players from the city to play in the select XI.
Aguero was Premier League Player of the Month on five occasions since his arrival in England in 2011 and won the Premier League Golden Shoe in 2014/15, but his consistent omissions from the PFA Team of the Year has always been a source of appeal Mysteries until now.
The Argentine is joined by city colleagues Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne, the latter most liked to win the Single Player of the Year Award
Mohamed Salah, who also wins the individual prize after his incredible season Liverpool, as well as Tottenham talisman Harry Kane, who still hopes to win the third Golden Shoe in a row to match the achievements of 90s legend Alan Shearer.
Kane is joined by Spurs team-mates Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen Helen's winger Marcos Alonso and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea complete the XI.
