Something new for Fallout apparently comes. It remains to be seen what exactly it is, but now we know pretty well that it does not come from Fallout: New Vegas Studio Obsidian.
In a tweet, the California studio said, "How do you just hang someone?" Ask a friend. "The tweet used the ultra-sad hashtag #ItsNotUs The Obsidian Tweet never mentions Fallout by name, but it is clear what he's talking about.

Obsidian developed the beloved Fallout: New Vegas, which was released in 2010 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. "Last year, the game's director, Josh Sawyer, said he and other obsidian developers would one day want to make another Fallout game. Before that, Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart talked about his possible plans for New Vegas 2. "I think if we were Fallout: New Vegas 2 – or just a new fallout – we'd probably separate him from what the internal team did at Bethesd a, "Urquhart said as early as 2013." We would keep it on the West Coast because we are "It's people on the West Coast, they're East Coast, so it makes sense."
The latest Fallout game was Fallout 4, developed by Bethesda Game Studios in Maryland and released in November 2015. It was sold very well.
Obsidi's latest game is Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, which was released on PC earlier this month. The studio is also working on an unannounced RPG released by Red Dead Redemption, the new indie game label of the take-two parent company.
As for Bethesda's latest fallout tease, it's unclear what or when we'll find out more. The Bethesda E3 2018 press conference is scheduled for Sunday, June 10, at 6:30 pm PT / 9:30 pm ET (2:30 pm BST / 11:30 am AET on June 11), so we should learn more about the latest news. For more information, see the full E3 2018 press conference schedule.
In February, Bethesda's Todd Howard said the studio had several "big and crazy" projects in its network of studios, including the studio opened in Montreal. One possibility for the Fallout Reveal is a new mobile game, as Bethesda has already announced plans to create more mobile titles following Fallout Shelter's great success. In addition, Howard has talked about how he has "many ideas" for what might come next after Fallout 4.
