Following the news that Square Enix has finally brought Cloud's design in the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake closer to the original vision of Tetsuya Nomura, the company has created a new job listing where they look for new ones Planner for the game in a possibly confirmed vision for the project.
The company is looking for battle planner and layer planner with some other tidbits regarding the title. Square noted that because of the remake's great response, the game's goal is to make a "new creation" rather than just redesigning the game, as the game is widely considered a masterpiece in the series.
Square is now producing the game internally, co-developing the game with CyberConnect2 after their short time. Now most of the original employees have returned and are now in full production with the project, aiming to "surpass the original work".
It is worth noting that due to the scale and development cost of the project, Square previously decided to turn the remake into a three-part series, with each title in the series having the amount of content seen in a stand-alone game ,
