MLB.com | Mark Feinsand: Manny Machado officially had a meeting yesterday with the Yankees. In addition to Brian Cashman, Aaron Boone and CC Sabathia attended the meeting with Machado. The meeting lasted an hour and a half and included a Photoshop of him in pinstripes. Machado will meet the Phillies today before hopefully making a decision soon. A mystery team is said to be in the running as well, but according to Jon Heyman this no longer seems to be the case:
The Yankees contingent dined with his wife Manny Machado in Manhattan tonight. Yanks are interested in the game along with Chisox and Phillies. It was assumed that these three teams were no secrets.

The original reports of the meeting were so brief that they seemed daunting, but even they go to dinner last night is definitely an encouraging sign , I hope they can do it.
New York Post | Greg Joyce: Troy Tulowitzki hosted a training session in California yesterday, and the Yankees were one of eleven teams. Tulowitzki, who has not been in a game since July 2017, was released by Blue Jays before this off-season. If he is healthy, he might be an interesting candidate to temporarily fill the Yankees shortstop hole until Didi Gregorius returns, but hopefully they can land a bigger fish instead of settling down here.
MLB.com: This is not Yankee-specific news, but Major League Baseball and the MLBPA yesterday announced a deal with the Cuban Baseball Federation. The agreement will officially allow the Cuban players to sign up to the Major League clubs in a secure and legal manner. The agreement expires on October 31, 2021, unless both parties agree to an extension. Current Cuban MLB players said they are pleased that future generations of Cuban players will not have to take the risks they have taken to come and play in the United States.
