NFL Week 8 Power Rankings: Packers move up behind Aaron Rodgers, Cowboys and Vikings

What's up with Aaron Rodgers?

Many have asked this question for much of this season. Now we know the answer.

Nothing.

Rodgers took some time to get used to the new offensive at Green Bay, but we've seen it feel good against Sunday's Oakland Raiders. Rodgers threw five touchdown passes and scored another hit on the ground as the Packers beat Oakland to make it 5-1 and remain one of the best NFC teams.

There were, in fact, people who wrote that Rodgers was no longer an elite, since he started relatively slowly in the first five games.

He was not bad, but he was not Aaron Rodgers. He came on Sunday with eight touchdown passes and two picks into play. He left with 1

3 and two and had an incompletion more than he touchdown passes. His pass rating was perfect and he threw for 429 yards.

Do you still think he is no longer elite?

The Patriots have barely sweated against the Jets, but can they finish the season undefeated? Rodgers has this week the Packers ranked No.4 in my power rankings, with three out of four teams at the top in the NFC. The Packers will face tough trials in Kansas City on Sunday night, but they will defeat the Chiefs without Patrick Mahomes.

This cheats on us because we see a fight between two of the best of the NFLs throwing football, but at least we can see a hot Rodgers that night.
