NFL will play four games in London in 2019, including two at Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium

The NFL in London series will continue in 2019. It was confirmed on Tuesday that the league will play four games in London in the 2019 season. Two of the games will be played at Wembley Stadium, while the other two will be played at Tottenham Hotspur.

The new stadium in which Tottenham Hotspur and the two non-Wembley NFL games in London are currently still under construction. It has a planned capacity of 62,062 and will also have the world's first separable field featuring an artificial turf below for use in NFL games. (This will probably help avoid situations such as those that took place on Monday, when Manchester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur were in poor shape and still had American football tags from the NFL game the day before.)

As Neil Reynolds of SkySports noted in the above tweet, one of the four games is almost certain that the Jacksonville Jaguars exist. Jags owner Shad Khan recently withdrew his offer to buy Wembley Stadium, noting the lack of unanimous support for his bid, but the presence of Jags in London is likely to continue.

To date there have been 24 NFL games in London, three of them this season. The Jaguars have played there for the last six seasons and played 3: 3 in these games. (The dolphins and four-game raiders are the second-largest teams in London.) Of the 24 London games, 21 were played at Wembley, three at Twickenham Stadium.
