Terry Bogard, a Fatal Fury character, was announced at a direct conference in September as a guest fighter by Smash Bros.
Bogard is the fourth DLC character to join the game as part of the Fighters Pass.
The SNK leg combines Joker from the Persona series, Hero from various Dragon Quest games, and Banjo & Kazooie. Piranha Plant was also introduced as a DLC, but not as part of the Fighters Pass. With his famous red cap, vest and Jeans Bogard is a direct martial artist who uses a variety of martial arts punches and kicks. He also has a devastating ground-based fireball attack called Power Wave.
Bogard will be followed by another new figure this winter as part of the Fighters Pass. Based on the rumors, this could be anyone, from Doom's Marine to Minecraft's Steve.
Nintendo keeps the identity of the new character in check and tells Twitter followers that they should not expect any announcement shortly.
"During this livestream, there will be no announcements about undisclosed fighters," the company confirmed.
Seems we have to wait a little longer for this Waluigi revelation.
