Nintendo pulled a game from the eShop on April 26 after it became known that creator of A Dark Room snuck in a code editor for players to use.

Rajan posted his announcement of the secret editor, which is used in the programming language of Ruby, and said that it meant to create apps for their Nintendo Switch

"Last week I released A Dark Room to the Nintendo Switch." Within the game, I also sent a Ruby interpreter and a code editor to Easter Egg, "Rajan said.

He explained," This Easter Egg Nintendo Switch Into a Ruby Machine. "

The only step users have to do is to connect to a USB keyboard and press the" ~ "key to get into the coder. Rajan also asked in his post for Ruby and game developers to, "please boost."

"This is the intent of ADR's Easter Egg," Rajan described in his post. "To show the next generation that magic does exist in this It's not 3D, it's barely 2D, but the player still has a wonderful time playing

In terms of adults, Rajan said, "This Easter Eggs is for you and those who have forgotten what it is felt like to print 'hello world'. '

' The sky is the limit 'so ins Deutsche:

Publisher for A Dark Room, Circle Entertainment, came to surprise after finding out Ninten

"We're liaising with Nintendo to clarify on the next steps and deal with the matter accordingly; they are regretful circumstances and we apologize for the issue. We have always worked hard to keep up with Nintendo's DSiWare, 3DS eShop, Wii Shop, and Nintendo Switch eShop, and we've been there with this title for some time. "[1

He has apologized since referring to Nintendo's removal of A Dark Room, "I deeply regret How did I blow up? I acted alone and stupidly. It was a last second 'spark of inspiration' and I snuck at it in a USB keyboard and pressing the "~" key was not part of the test plan. "

" Having Circle deal with some of this cannon fire is not something I'd ever want to, "Rajan continued." These past three days have been the worst of my life. And I do not know what to say except I'm sorry, and all I've tried to do is to discover what I discovered 25 years ago. "

So he downplayed the abilities of the code editor saying it's all possible to draw lines, squares, labels and play sounds from the game an image.

In terms of if a dark room will ever be available in the eShop again, Rajan said he feels that many developers and programmers at Nintendo would be able to empathize with him and understand where he comes from. [19659005] IGN has reached out to Nintendo for a new update.
