Nintendo has just announced the latest in its Labo series of whimsical cardboard accessories for the Switch game console, and this model looks like a must-have. For obvious reasons, the vehicle kit was called. The Flat-Pack, Assembly-it-yourself add-ons include a steering wheel, accelerator, "keys" that activate different vehicles that all work in a cool game
Frankly, it just looks like a giant bargain , Perhaps the most gigantic of all times. With $ 70 you get a whole collapsible steering unit with levers on the sides. a pedal that I really hope will withstand a serious pounding; a joystick to control an airplane, a strange thing that controls a submarine; and a "key" that fits into your Joy-Con that fits itself into the various other setups to activate it.
They are all supposed to be used in a game that, although it has no name, looks awesome. It looks like a big island with secrets hidden everywhere, where you can get around with your buggy, submarine, plane and all the other strange vehicles.
You can race, spray your vehicles, blow up stones and cut down trees. There is also a two-player mode in which you fight with cars that for some reason have telescopic arms. Do not think too much about it.
Of course you have to assemble everything yourself (I think either kids read TechCrunch or our readers buy Nintendo equipment for kids), but we found Labo to be happy to assemble and play with, that should not be a problem. It's a feature, not a bug.
You can purchase this kit for $ 70 starting September 14, which is a bargain again. If any of us receives one before this date, we will definitely let you know.
