One person was killed and three others injured in a shootout near the funeral train passage of the late rapper Nipsey Hussle in Los Angeles. The police said there was no indication that the shootout on Thursday night was connected with the procession.
At around 18:25, a rifle fire broke out, just a few blocks from a section of the 25-mile procession, the police said. The procession attracted many people who stayed into the night. The Los Angeles Times reported that the shootings took place in the Watts area after the procession passed through the area.
The victims were tweeting three black men and a black woman whose age was between 30 and 50 years, Chief Michel Moore [19459055 [Donnerstag] ]. "We have to stop this senseless violence," he said.
In South Los Angeles, the shootings have experienced a boom. The Times reported that eleven people were killed in the weeks leading up to Nipsey Hussle's death.
