Hello Games has released the new update for No Man's Sky named Next. The free update makes massive improvements to the game through multiplayer, character customization, commando and visual upgrades. Next is the fourth major update to No Man's Sky, according to Foundation, Pathfinder, and Atlas Rises. But it is perhaps the biggest of them all.
No Man's Sky originally launched on PS4 and PC in August 2016 and has been harshly criticized for alleged lack of content. Although several updates have expanded the number of activities that players can do, Sony management admits that the PR strategy was "not great" and No Man Sky designer Sean Murray confirmed that he had "made mistakes"
Despite the initial backlash The updates from No Man's Sky have slowly given the game a growing player base. "One day I hope to reach a point where No Man's Sky is finished, but fortunately there is so much more we want to do," Murray said.
The main changes in No Man's Sky Next are listed below, but you can read the full patch notes and bug fixes on No Man's Sky Blog. Murray tweeted although it is not included in the patch notes. Next also allows players to bring their in-game avatar to sit – a feature players have been asking for. Maybe a few more playful secrets are hidden in the latest update of the game. We are now working on a patch that is already on its way to fixing problems that have occurred, as well as weekly updates to keep things fresh. We will keep you up to date as we learn more.
Multiplayer and character customization
Multiplayer is the biggest change in No Man's Sky. Although it was never confirmed whether a multiplayer would be included before the start, many players wanted to explore the galaxy with their friends as they wanted. Next adds a lot of the mechanics these players wanted, plus a few more.
You can now get together with random strangers or band together with a small contingent of friends, colonies of small shelters, exocrafts, or battles in space battles against other players. You can connect with friends right from the start, as the multiplayer also covers the story and tutorial missions of No Man's Sky.
To facilitate the distinction between avatars, Next offers character customizations so anyone can personalize their in-game appearance. You can change your race and change your outfits as well. Depending on the nature of your character, you can even change your hairstyle. Further, players are allowed to be a Gek, Vyke, Korvax, a traveler, or an anomaly.
Not every player you meet is a friendly face, so if you meet another player in the middle of exploring the stars, it's best to be careful. Although a stranger could be a harmless passer or a future ally, Next allows players to outsmart others for survival. A cluster of ships approaching the horizon could be a team of players acting as space pirates relying on stolen loot from others.

Building and Crafting
You can invite your friends to your own commando freighter to tackle challenging multiplayer missions. If you still have problems, you can build and upgrade a fleet of frigates that you can then customize to specialize in combat, reconnaissance, trade, industry or support.
You can use whatever you want to build bases that can now be built anywhere on any planet. You can even build on the mountains and under the sea. And if you do not like how the terrain affects the shape of your base, you can use the improved terrain manipulator to shape the planet surface to your needs. The manipulator can also be used to dig out old treasures that can be sold on the space station's new marketplace.
There are hundreds of new base parts that allow you to build larger and more complex bases so you can build your perfect hiding place. Players can also have multiple bases and place teleports anywhere, so traveling is much faster.
The resources needed to customize your fleet and bases, and to produce your equipment and equipment, have been redesigned and rebalanced. Many of the resources you remember from the original No Man's Sky have been given new names and used in a totally different way. Planet resources have been expanded, and the biome, weather, and classification of a planet will have a far greater impact on the type of materials you find there. ” data-full-srcset=”https://static.gamespot.com/uploads/original/1587/15875866/3417816-landingpad.png 1920w, https://static.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/1587/15875866/3417816-landingpad.jpg 1280w, https://static.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_medium/1587/15875866/3417816-landingpad.jpg 480w”/>
To dig up the larger amounts of materials you'll discover, you can use the resource collection deployable technology now easily incorporated and added to your inventory. The improved analysis visor makes it easier to find terrain resources. With visible latitude and longitude coordinates and the ability to mark interesting locations with a marker, you can quickly orient yourself while exploring.
The opening section of No Man's Sky has been updated with new story elements as well as a tutorial that teaches advanced gameplay features. Mission chains help players explore planets and found bases.
After completion of the tutorial, new types of missions are available. Exploration is still the core of No Man's Sky, but new photography, feeding, freighter attack and defense, archeology and hunting missions expand the number of activities that players can perform. Players will not get all of their targets from the same NPC as a diverse assortment of random NPCs missions on different stations.
Hello Games has released detailed patch notes for Next that change everything, including the extreme minutiae. In addition to all the important features, you can see settings on the controller (such as the ability to manually store the multi-tool), space station overhaul, bug fixes, and more.
Shortly before the start of the next update, Hello Games launched a new website called Galactic Atlas. This is essentially a guide to a specific area of the game – the Euclid galaxy – which Hello has sown, but is left in the hands of the players to explore and grow. From the side, you can follow the progress of the galaxy, mark interesting points, and join hubs or factions.
The pictures for No Man & # 39; s Sky have also been reworked. Terrain generates faster and soil, water and cloud textures have been updated. Ships, NPCs and buildings also have more details. No Man's Sky is now playable in both the first and third person, whether you are walking on the surface of a planet or ascending between the stars.
The distance has been improved so that planets appear denser and newer Color palette paints the woods, oceans and plains of each world with extra liveliness. The dangerous storms that can cause the downfall of smaller aircraft use new biome-specific particle effects to make them look more dangerous than ever.
Fauna and Flora
The creatures that you will discover on your travels will now be more enthusiastic. If you feed them, let them serve you together. The AI of the creatures has also been redesigned to make them more intelligent and respond to players who recognize them as friendly and fleeing from perceived danger. Not all new animals and plants are friendly. Look out for new dangerous species, as they will kill you if you are not careful.
