Nobel laureate James Watson, who contributed to the discovery of the DNA structure, was robbed of his honorary title last week after having recently linked race and intelligence to genetics. Watson affirmed his position that genes at RQ -Tests breed differences are based.
The Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York, where Watson held numerous leadership roles for nearly four decades, "unequivocal"  – "baseless and inconsiderate" comments from ancient scholars. The facility also revoked Watson's title of emeritus chancellor, emeritus Oliver R. Grace, and honorary trustee.
"Dr. Watson's statements are reprehensible, unsupported by science, and in no way represent the views of CSHL, its trustees, faculty, staff, or students," the lab said in a statement released Friday Labor condemns the abuse of science to justify prejudice. "

Watson's role as Persona Non Grata began after he communicated it to the British Sunday Times . he was "inherently bleak about the prospect of Africa," because "all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours – while all the tests say this is not really the case." He added, while hoping that all people could exhibit the same intelligence: "People who deal with black people do not find that true."
In a new PBS documentary, the Titan of Genetics said its Opinions on this topic have remained unchanged, races were reflected in the DNA.

Watson's Recent Comments "Apply the written pardon and revocation of men [he] to de in 2007", said the Cold Spring Harbor Lab.
The biologist has not responded to the recent backlash and is reported to be in a nursing home recovering from a car accident in October. His son told the Associated Press that Watson currently has "very little" awareness of his surroundings.
