Nomad today released a new wireless charger, an updated version of the company's existing base station charger that adds an additional integrated charger for the Apple Watch, and it could fill the void of Apple's seemingly infinitely delayed AirPower charger The Apple Watch extension is the main difference to the original base station, along with a $ 20 to $ 119.99 price hike. The base station itself still has a cute looking aluminum and leather base with three charging coils, so it can charge up to two devices at the same time, without worrying too much about positioning exactly. Take a Qi charger with you for AirPod, and you basically have your own AirPower.
Unlike most of these charging stations, the Apple Watch's charger is a MFi approved stand (complete with support for the nightstand mode of the watch) built right into the cradle, no hollowed-out puck Put one of Apple's own cables, which is nice on a premium charging bag like this one. Although the Apple Watch charger costs the USB-A and USB-C ports on the back of the lower-priced base station, if you have an Apple Watch, it may be worth trading.
The Base The Apple Watch Edition station is available from Nomad for $ 119.99.
