NVIDIA has just lost an important player in his team. Director of Technical Marketing, Tom Peterson, left the company after nearly 15 years with Team Green.
Peterson announced the news on his personal Facebook account. There he said, "Today was my last day as an NVIDIA employee, I miss them, they have carried me through hard times and I am infinitely grateful."
According to rumors, Peterson is said to have gone to Intel, who sucked in talent without remorse. WCCFTech reports from its own sources that Peterson joins Intel as an Engineering Fellow and will "report to Ari Rauch." In her report, Peterson will be responsible for "defining and implementing the bottom line of the gaming experience.
Peterson was a beacon of technical excitement at NVIDIA, and at every single event I attended, I was intrigued by his open and friendly personality and routed every time you hang out with him. He is a super friendly, super-spiritual guy who is a geek at heart.
I sincerely wish him all the best, wherever he lands, and whether that's with Intel … see you soon, mate.
