Nvidia unveiled RTX 2080 Ti is twice as fast GTX 1080 Ti

The last day of technical demonstrations and seminars is over and Nvidia has allowed me to share some extremely interesting details about the performance of its new Turing RTX series GPUs such as the RTX 2080 – specifically, thanks to a new feature called Deep Learning Super Sampling, they can be twice as fast as their predecessors in some games

DLSS doubles this to about 100% or twice so fast compared to the older GPU that uses TAA. In fact, there were clear examples that DLSS produced a sharper and more accurate picture. Frame rates averaged 80 fps at 4K resolution on the RTX 2080 Ti, but only 40 fps on the GTX 1080, which I personally saw at the event on two identical systems. As you can see above, Nvidia also claims similar performance improvements in PUBG and Final Fantasy XV HDR.

Like RTX and Raytracing, DLSS is limited to a small selection of games, but Nvidia has told me that DLSS can be easily integrated into older games that also use TAA. Of course, DLSS is only compatible with Nvidia's Turing GPUs, but it promises high frame rates as well as high quality settings with Nvidia's new features and hardware.
