As promised, it ships with Android TV and supports both Google Assistant and Alexa. With the OnePlus Connect app, you can enter text and switch between Android TV apps on your smartphone. Each time you receive a call on your phone, the OnePlus TV automatically lowers the volume of content so you do not make any effort yourself. Chromecast support is also integrated directly into the TV.
̵1; OnePlus India (@OnePlus_IN) September 26, 2019 More interesting than the television, however, is the sales approach of OnePlus. As with smartphones, the company plans to offer two different models of the OnePlus TV. They will be a standard model and a "pro" variant. The two models cost 69,000 INR (985 USD) and 99,900 INR (1407 USD). While both are equipped with built-in 50 W soundbars that support Dolby Atmos, the Pro model has a slidable array of eight speakers instead of a four-speaker static array. The other big difference is that the Pro model comes with a kickstand. For the better first quarter, OnePlus takes a page out of Apple's book and asks people to buy a separate dock. And we have no idea how much that will cost.
It is not yet known when OnePlus will start selling the Q1 series in the US Smartphone companies are offering more expensive "Pro" in the TV market. Until then, OnePlus fans in the US can look forward to the OnePlus 7T.
