But only one person has answered.
Christian, who has autism, visits Hillsdale Elementary in Meridian, Idaho. At the picnic at the end of the school year, Larsen saw first-hand how some of the children went about with their son: either ignoring Christian or saying no to him when he asked them to attend his party. It made her think that the lack of answers could mean something more. On May 31, Lindsay wrote on Facebook about the lack of answers, and her friend Blythe Ben-David stepped in to make a birthday wonder. Ben-David lives in South Texas, far from the Larsen family. She could not attend the party and turned to Dan Holtry, a family friend and football coach at Nampa High School in Idaho.
"He has always been a great guy, a real guy with a big heart," Ben-David wrote about Holtry in an email to CNN. "I knew if anyone could help, Dan would be."
When Ben-David asked Holtry if he could help, he immediately agreed and, according to Ben-David, went "beyond anything."

When Christian's party was on June 4, several classmates, some neighborhood kids, and some family friends appeared. Christian ran around and had a good time when the surprise guests arrived.
Holtry and his players came and sang his name.
"The energy became electric and it was amazing to see how they all came together," Larsen wrote in an e-mail. "Christian often plays alone or wanders away, but with the players who helped organize the games, he became part of the action, playing alongside his colleagues and also the football players, and I think it helped the other little kids to interact with them. " Christian too.
Holtry and his players stayed until the end, playing with the children, singing a happy birthday and watching Christian open some presents.
"I know Christian was astonished and blessed by the turnout. "Mother said." He talked about it for days. One of the best things about his personality is that he always looks for the positive. He did not ask why the players were there, he just loved it. He has said it several times. "Was the best birthday ever!"
