Massive spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" below.
The entirety of Avengers: Infinity War is Chockablock with exclamation moments: Steve Rogers meeting Groot! Peter Parker pulls a aliens ! Black Widow, Okoye and Scarlet Witch team up to kill Proxima Midnight! The unexpected return of Red Skull! A call for help to Captain Marvel! And an end that enveloped me made me look like a vision after Thanos tore an infinity stone out of his head! After the lights went up in the theater, I still had some questions to answer.
As follows Ant-Man and the Wasp possibly Infinity War ? 1
9659004] Not how high the bar was raised – though that too – but Infinity War ended in ashes with half of life on earth. Ant-Man and the Wasp take place in a world where half of the population simply disappeared …? That seems like a big deal. Similar to Ragnarok at about the same time as Civil War does this Ant-Man take place during the time line of Infinity War ? And the credits scene will disappear Ant-Man or Wasp?
Which other superheroes have been raptured?
We see most of the heroes from this film who disappeared with a click of Thanos' fingers: Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Star Lord, and Spider-Man, among others. But what about Shuri? And Wong? Are you still there? And what about the superheroes who were not in the movie? Can Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Nakia, or Vakyrie Unravel To Indulge In Avengers 4
Who survived the Asgard massacre?
Is Valkyrie still alive? At the beginning of the film, Thanos attacks the ship of the Asgardians, apparently, and cleared half of the Asgardians on board before he received the Space Stone. But we see neither fur nor hair from Thor: Rangarok & Breakout Star: Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie. Not to mention, Korg and Miek. Have you escaped with the surviving Asgardians and are somewhere in the cosmos? There's no way they were killed off screen, right?
Will Gamora's death get stuck?
There are dead in Infinity War and there are "dead". The finally ashed characters are brought back somewhere. However, a number of characters previously met their creator. I can believe that Heimdall, Loki, and Vision have vanished forever, but it's harder to buy Gamora's death, which Thanos sacrificed in his search for Soulstone. (Would they really kill Gamora on the horizon with Guardians Vol. 3 ?) By coincidence, this is exactly the kind of situation in which the Soulstone is useful …
That's not the last we have Soul stone seen, right?
One of the film's biggest and best kept secrets came during Gamora and Thanos' stay in Vormir, where it is revealed that the stone keeper who guarded the soul stone has none of it other than … Red Skull, the stone-crazed villain of Captain America: The First Avenger . (In this movie, Red Skull was played by Hugo Weaving, but here it is Nano-Impressionist Ross Marquand.) Provided that the Stones are still functional, I have a sense of the Soulstone – and the true extent of his powers – in Avengers 4, come into play. But is this the last we saw of Red Skull? Will we return to Vormir? (And after all the theories about where the soul stone was, why Vormir, a relatively unimportant place from the comics?)
When will Peter Quill finally return to Earth?
The Legendary Outlaw Star Lord has not set foot on the earth since Yondu beamed him more than 30 years ago. With the Guardians finally joining forces with Earth's most powerful heroes, I assumed this would be a defining moment in Infinity War – but the next quill to come to his homeworld was Titan. (He met Earthlings in Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, and Peter Parker.) In the meantime, Groot and Rocket have visited Wakanda, so Quills pilgrimage to Earth may not be too far back.
When Will Tony Stark and Steve Rogers
An important connection between Civil War and Infinity War was the schism between Iron Man and Captain America – at the beginning of the film refuses Calling Tony, Steve, Even if New York City is attacked by alien minions and the film ends, without the two ever interact. Now that it's absolutely necessary that they put their differences aside and work together, Tony seems deadlocked, who knows how many miles away on Titan while Steve is in Wakanda.
Is Hulk afraid of Thanos?
Infinity War is not without the big guy. In the first few minutes he is called to Clobber Thanos … but he gets the green beat out of him. After Hulk has jumped down to the ground, Banner calls him several times without success. (The money shot from the trailer, by Hulk slo-mo running alongside the rest of the Avengers, is not in the movie.) Does the hulk refuse to show up because he's afraid of the crazy Titan? Or is something else in the game?
What did Doctor Strange mean by "We're in the final now?"
Before their showdown with Thanos, Doctor Strange saw the future – cool new power! – and saw a million predictions of how the scenario ends, but only one in which the Avengers and Guardians emerge victorious. And although you would expect to own the Timeline, it would be important to win this victory, and he's quite casual about handing it over to Thanos. (Granted, in exchange for Tony's life). What does Strange know about the final that the others do not know? And why did not he point that out to her?
Where did everybody go? How will they come back? And does any of this include the Kree Skrull War?
Infinity War leaves us in a place that few Marvel films have: with really no idea what will happen next. Are the raptured heroes dead? Or were they transported somewhere else? (An alternate dimension or timeline, maybe?) We know they have to come back somehow – the Guardians, Black Panthers and Spider-Man have all future films in the works – but … how? And how do Kree and Skrull connect? (The Kree Skrull War is a major arc stemming from the comics about warring alien races in Captain Marvel before the film Avengers 4 .)
What is the title of Avengers 4 ?
Avengers: Endgame Maybe? Something specific spoiler-y?
