AT & T is now the third US carrier in recent months that provides us with this data a taste of the power and potential of 5G. I was able to measure the upload and download speed and download hours of movies and TV shows in seconds. Take that away? AT & T 5G Plus is faster than The Flash when it needs to pee. I have speeds that consistently exceeded 1 Gbps, often reaching 1,600 to 1,800 Mbps. That's six times faster than my home Internet.

The new generation of wireless innovation could lead to a variety of practical applications, such as fast movie downloading or delayed streaming ofgames and hopes to be harbingers of new applications and technologies that could be used still need to be presented. But as I learned on Saturday, 5G is still very much in its raw cookie dough condition. Networks are still being upgraded, and the tests I conducted were a wonderful taste of what our future wireless connections should be able to do. Speed is only part of what makes 5G so attractive. The Shape conference showed the true potential of 5G: it's worth it for companies and developers. Interactive demos from companies such asNvidia, Nokia, and IBM gave me a glimpse of how this 5G speed can bring reality to creative dreams and utilities.
