Available via Battle.net, the tool allows you to watch games from any camera.
Blizzard Entertainment Overwatch will not see a new card at the BlizzCon 2018, against an annual tradition since the game's release. While new map content is under development, director Jeff Kaplan announced something else in the latest developer update video: the Overwatch World Cup Viewer. It will appear as a "special beta feature" in front of the BlizzCon.
Along with the observation of Overwatch World Cup matches from any camera or perspective via the Battle.net client, players can also become slower or faster footage. Repeats can also be displayed if you want to watch a specific game again. Perhaps the coolest thing is that the Overwatch World Cup Viewer provides the foundation for the functionality of all platforms and game types.
We dream that this technology will arrive in time for . Overwatch League Season 2? One could hope. Until then, the Overwatch World Cup Viewer will be a great way to experience the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals of the global tournament at BlizzCon. The BlizzCon 2018 will take place from 2 to 3 November.
