The classic G.H. Bass & Co. Penny Loafer has just received a very cool upgrade. The legendary Maine footwear company has partnered with RE / Done (the brand known for completely reinterpreting vintage Levi's jeans and Hanes tees into modern fashion packs) to give their Weejun's style a fresh spin. Oh, and Paris Jackson is just so – topless – in the election campaign.
The Weejun was first introduced in 1936 and was made famous by Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face and Michael Jackson in his music video "Thriller". For the brand's first collection, RE / Done x Weejuns releases two styles, the Whitney (an updated version of the classic Loafers) and the Winsome (a three-inch heel version of the design) that pay tribute to the OG while new ones Fabrics and textures (think box leather, patent leather, calf hair and vintage tapestry).
Paris brings her signature Cool-Girl vibe of the Juergen Teller-Schuss campaign, in various variations of Loafers. In fact, they even replace their top in a few shots, and in all the pictures their more than 50 tattoos are featured prominently (she was seen tat-free on the set of another project earlier this week!)
