On Friday morning, special tactical units and hostage-takers rushed to a Downtown hotel in Miami after police received reports of gunfire from the hotel in the old Omni district.
Nearly three hours after the first phone call at 9:42 am, the police said they still had no evidence of the gunfire or someone with injuries.
As a precaution, the hotel was located at 1601 Biscayne Blvd. however, evacuated when the members of the SWAT from corridor to corridor, "from a wealth of caution," said the police officer of the Miami Kia Delva.
