Grinding Gear Games announced a sequel to its popular Dungeon Crawler Action RPG Path of Exile . The developer unveiled Path of Exile 2, and released the first trailer of the game, which you can see at the top of this post, during his annual ExileCon event.
The trailer begins with a loan-hero escaping his own execution before going over to the traditional top-down view and showing off the game's new enemies and abilities. The dark and terrible enemies and environments of the first game seem to return this time, but the trailer is hidden to reveal a character running around a boat, suggesting that this time around, players could travel to new and distant lands.

The announcement also reveals that the game will contain a new seven-act storyline as the tantalizing phrase "one game, two campaigns". These players can choose to play the campaign Path of Exile 2 or the original game's campaign, but both lead to the same endgame. Path of Exile 2 will also contain the same extension content that was added to Path of Exile since its original publication in 2013.
Path of Exile 2 will feature 19 new ascension classes, these come from the same archetypes as the original game exiles, but have different abilities. There will also be a new skill-gem system that will replace the previous skill system and give players the same level of customization without the problems of the old system.
Grinding Gear Games makes it clear on the website Path of Exile 2 that the game does not yet have a release date. However, it is noted that the developer does not want to start beta until the end of 2020 at the earliest, and that the development of Path of Exile 2 will not slow down the regular three-month expansion cycle for the original game to which players have become accustomed ,
