Peta Murgatroyd never missed a show in her professional dance career until she was forced by an eerie and mysterious illness to shorten part of the weekend ,
The pro "Dancing With the Stars" apologized to their fans after a disease that left them feeling unstrung in their arms and legs led them to a show in Grand Prairie, Texas, on the MAKS .VAL.PETA Confidential bowed tour with her husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his brother Val.
"I woke up feeling a bit disgusting, but I could spend my day with Shai," she wrote on Instagram, referring to her 1-year-old son.
"In the afternoon vomiting started (and you know what.) I thought it was food poisoning, I had a fever and chills and just tried to sleep in before the show, but at 8 o'clock rolled around and I could barely walk and I could not feel my arms and legs. "
Murgatroyd, 31, did her best when it was time to perform, but eventually had to suspend her.
"I had no idea how I would go through this door," she wrote. "I tried my best to dance, but my legs gave in. Apart from being very embarrassing, it was very scary."

Murgatroyd once again apologized to her fans and thanked her husband and brother-in-law as well as the cast and crew for making sure that the show went on.
"I'm feeling better today and I'm looking forward to seeing all our fans," she wrote. "I love you and I'm so sorry!"
